Take Over and Rivalry Between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden: January 20, 2025 Presidential Inauguration
In the politics of the United States of America, the book of history has written it down about how the Democratic Party took over power from the Republican Party in 2021.
American former President Joe Biden who is/was a member of the Democratic Party along with his running mate Kamala Harris (American former Vice President) contested for the Presidential election in 2020 and defeated President Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence who were as of then the incumbent President and Vice President of United States of America under the umbrella of Republican Party.
In the electoral history, that situation of an incumbent President being defeated made waves of news and as well birthed so much high expectations from the citizens, residents and global world who hoped that Joe Biden would drive his leadership by performing efficiently and effectively to change the state of affairs of the U.S economy and make things more better for the people.
It was no doubt that such defeat was a big blow to President Donald Trump. He handed over power to Joe Biden who was inaugurated as the 46th President of United State.
Without doubt, strong rivalry was seen to exist between the two public figures (Joe Biden and Donald Trump); Donald Trump was unrelenting in pushing out his criticisms against the leadership of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party.
In his usual character of being raw, blunt and fearless, he kept on sending out his voice to the people in America with the narratives that he believes that he is more better and a better choice than Joe Biden. Within the period when President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were in the office of power from January 20, 2021 to January 20, 2025, President Donald Trump never gave up on his ambition of returning back as the President of U.S. In the turn of things, it happened that former President Joe Biden after doing some consultations and considerations, he considered himself not deemed fit to contest for second term in office, so he shifted the mandate to his Vice President who stepped out doggedly, boldly and determined to run the 2024 Presidential election race with Donald Trump.
However, when the Presidential election was conducted, completed and concluded, Donald Trump had a landslide election victory over Kamala Harris. This time around, the Republican Party has taken power back from the Democratic Party.
Consequently, on January 20, 2025, Donald Trump returned back to the White house as the 47th President of United States. The same Joe Biden who Donald Trump handed over power to in January 20, 2021 was now the one to also hand over power to Donald Trump on the January 20, 2025 day of presidential inauguration. It was indeed a 1 -1 takeover or handover between the two great American Presidents.
Now that Donald Trump is the current President of United States, all eyes are on him and the world is expecting him to do greater works and make America great again.
He started his resumption into office by introducing so many policies and signing some executive orders and has continued to increase tariffs on some countries.
The people of America are indeed looking up to him to fulfill all his campaign promises.
Good luck and success to him as he goes through the journey of leading the country.
